FIRST OF ALL, to those who celebrate, HAPPY HOLI, and to those who don’t, HAPPY EASTER! Today I had lots of fun, in New Jersey playing Holi with my cousin and his family. It was a 1 hour ride and I blasted music in the car! When we got there I hugged my cousins and we played hide and seek. They opened their gifts and they loved it. I gave them a toy doctor kit and a big remote control car. Onwards we kept passing our time playing and cleaning until the adults said it was time to go outside and play Holi. Fianny, the words me and my cousin were waiting for… “Let’s go play”. I filled up our water guns and put the color bags together. We went outside… WE BECAME A FREKING COLOR SALAD. We ran after each other and smudged colors, red, green, blue, purple, BRIGHT orange, we had it all. We played a little with water guns and finally went inside. I showered in FREEZING water and “temporarily” washed my hair. I ate some bread and drank mango lassi. After some more hide-and-seek, I got my gifts. I got a VERY SOFT lamb plushie and a scratch art kit. I also got a box of chocolates. My brother received a toy car and a wind-up chick plushie. I fell in love with all my gifts, especially the lamb, SO SOFT! Finally, we headed home. I fell asleep, half the ride and the other half, I blasted music, again. So that was my Holi experience. Once again, HAPPY HOLI.
